In the capacity of a UI/UX designer, I work closely with a large team of Designers, Strategists and UX Researchers to build user-centered solutions for web and mobile experiences.
My key responsibilities include:
- to understand the user needs and painpoints
- to learn about the business and product goals
- analyse and ideate potential design solutions based on user research and design thinking
- apply UX principles and best practises to enhance the usability of the website and mobile app.
- ideate, prototype and test ideas across the different stages of the sprint process.
- collaborate with business and product teams to align our solutions with their strategic goals.

Over the last year, I was involved in various projects along the key touchpoints of the customer purchase journey like enhancing product filters, improving presentation of the Product Information as well as designing new solutions for customers looking to use contractor services.

Mobile App Experience:
Worked in the core team to enhance the mobile app experience by desinging key features onto the mobile native platforms for intergrated customer experience. Adapted design language for mobile components based on AODA requirements to comply with accessibility compliance. Worked on several research projects to personalize the experience for mobile app customers
Innovation Centre Home Depot Canada: Leading initiatives like Build day, a platform to build and share research and design ideas to enhance customer engagement, sales and retention with the digital platforms.
Mentorship: Leading the remote onboarding process for new joinees on the UX team. Mentoring grad school students on work culture, design process and career development by involving them in real-time projects.
